I worked at a Chipotle for a few months (from April to July), and I was quite aggravated by the incompetence and rudeness of the managerial staff . My former managers were quite rude, authoritarian, and ungracious about my work and my overall performance. 99% of the time, I showed up for work; I was late twice because of an accident with a public transportation bus. But I always did my work and worked hard for this newly opened Chipotle restaurant. My general manager was quite demeaning towards me because the bathrooms weren't "cleaned to her expectations". When I had another manager, she stated the bathrooms were fine, and another manager even stated that my cleaning was good. After about 2 months, I kept getting threatened with my job because my cleaning skills weren't up to par. Having had enough of the threats and incompetence of the managerial staff, I put my two weeks in and left the mediocre establishment for good.
I put so much time and effort into this job, i.e. asked to come in on my days off (and came most of the time), fulfilled my expectations as a crew member, but I was still threatened with my job.
Parting thoughts, how about "employment with integrity", and "compassion and synergy within the workforce"; one will not find these qualities at Chipotle Mexican Grill.
