Chipotle is what is wrong with corporate America now days. In 2009 Chipotle earned $339.4 million in profits. While other businesses struggle trying to keep their employee base by paying them a fair salary (those are the true business with integrity and not the BS of Chipotle’s food with integrity). Do you know why Chipotle would never loose money? Chipotle is a sweatshop.
They over work their employees, they underpay them and give them a bunch of “goals” .when their employees can’t reach those goals and during review time, employees get either a…. “Good job, keep working your ass off for us” or a mediocre $0.05/$0.10 raise and if your goals were not reached, Chipotle just fires you for being a “low performer”. As if their employees are disposable items, what is wrong with them?
Most of the employees who stay with Chipotle have families. Most of them don’t want to risk not having a job to take care of their families, and I don’t blame them. I will do the same thing, however I would not let a bunch of fucking assholes take advantage of the little guy. As customers we have to stand up and demand fucking Chipotle to stand behind their food with integrity BS. Why they don't tell you how many calories there are in a burrito? Why do they never talk about the 3000+ mg of sodium in their food? Or why do they never talk about their 120% employee turnover and 40% and plus from manager turnover?
That is why Chipotle sucks period.
