So I live in the chicago land area, and was just fired yesterday! There reason for me being fired was I was so called missing one of the "13 characteristics"! Which i personally think it was because of my race! Now don't get me wrong im in no way shape or form a racist! But this place was.

This store was a new store opening up so I did my training with them and everything, which we have only been open since may 2010. Now we started out with a small group of people who were not hispanic, which then i didn't pay anymind to what or how many people there were hispanic until they began to fire people left and right! Now a few people were just NOT meant to be workin there! They went off to college anyways! So slowly but surely it was only a few of us left after the other few where either fired or went off to college. So total it was only 3 of us including me who were not hispanic, and everyone else was down to the managers!! One lady eventually found a better job and left, i was sad but i didn't blame her. So that just left Me and one other guy, and at that i was the only female who worked night shift!

There was two main cashier's on the night shift, me african american female, and the other guy who was white..... As time went on they eventually fired him and i was like why? So you guessed it, im the only female who wasn't hispanic left in the store for them to get rid of! Weeks go by everything is okay! And then one day the big boss comes in! It was very funny to me because when i walked in every manager that worked at this store was there and i normally don't see half of them! The store is spotless everything is in its place and for once we didn't have to come in and rush and make salsa or anything else that we never normally have made up!

So on this day the proceed to quickly interview the crew because they were planning on moving one of the managers up to a new position. Im not the kinda person who is gonna keep anyone from moving up in the world, so i kindly said yea she's a good manger blah blah blah! I then went back to work after interviewing. It was eating at me sooooo bad about wanting to tell them how things really were run in this store.

Now lets back up a little, sometime before i requested some days off to go on vaca but because they shorted my hours i didn't have the money i thought i would to go, so i just stayed home and hung out! I come BACK to work and they tried to fire me because they said that they had some customers complain about me 3 times. And im like okay you never told me about it, never wrote me up or anything...ANDDDDDD how could they complain about a person who wasn't there for a week??? :/ So i asked them well can i see these "letters" they wrote.... Oh umm we can't find them. YEA I BET YOU CAN'T! So they then put me back on the schedule and things were "back to normal".....

So time passes and brings us to 10/18/2010 I worked the entire freakin shift and then at the end of the night after the store is closed this is wen she wants to tell me they have to let me go!!!!!!!!! So i ask whats the reason?... Oh because our HR came in and said you where "enthusiastic" as everyone else. Now if anyone in there right mind walks in this store and thinks im not as chipper as everyone else then maybe i should have acted as if i was depressed! I wasn't highly upset or mad because i had planned on leaving that hell hole anyway, but for them to fire me because of that is soooo stupid.They now have an entire hispanic team which in the begining they told me that that's what they were gonna do...... Sounds like a discrimination lawsuit to me!!! I OFFICIALLY HATE CHIPOTLE!!!
