Everyone's always saying how awesome Chipotle is, so my family and I finally decided to go try it. We walked in, and it was a bit crowded, and the cleaning crew or whatever obviously wasn't doing a very good job 'cause there was lettuce and stuff all over the floor and some of the tables were gross (we cleaned them ourselves so we could sit.) Anyway, my brother got a burrito, and the woman put my brother's tortilla in the heating thingy for like 3 seconds (seriously) and it was still cold. (ew?) Also she gave him an annoyed look when he said he didn't want any rice. Wtf?
I ordered a chicken quesadilla, and this other woman who was REALLY rude and kept giving us nasty looks puts on the cheese and the chicken. I believe quesadillas usually have more than just cheese and chicken. Ew. I wanted her to add peppers and tomatoes and stuff, so I say 'Excuse me, can I get some peppers on that-' (loud enough for her to hear, believe me) and she completely ignores me and closes up the thing and gives it to some guy to toast it (again, for like, 3 seconds.) It comes out weird and SOGGY and floopy and gross, and it wasn't even cut up, I had to eat it like a sandwich. Also, don't quesadillas usually come with guacamole and sour cream and salsa on the side? Doesn't that stuff go without saying? Anyway, when I ask her for that stuff she just looks annoyed, and she only puts the sour cream and ignores the rest of the stuff.
The food was gross and I was left hungry.
So overall, the staff is rude, they get annoyed if you ask for anything different or extra, it's not clean, and the food is gross and overpriced.
I'd rather go to Qdoba's. The people aren't that much nicer but the food is fresher and they have really good tortilla soup.
DOES CHIPOTLE HAVE TORTILLA SOUP? NO.
Chipotle sucks.
